Glen Lyon is God's country for cycling.
Was up there a few days ago on my holidays. Glen Lyon tea room (of 39 steps fame) is legendary amongst local cyclists.

Yes, it was lovely. Sadly the Tea rooms were shut on Wednesdays and the disappointment on the face of the two cyclists sat outside was testament to this.

Yes. Lovely drive up and over from Loch Tay to Glen Lyon past the reservoir. Very remote road. Nice for cycling except for the gravel I thought.

I used to frequent Kenmore water sports at the bottom end of Loch Tay, That end is shallow and in summer, fun to swim in but you can't go far before the water gets very deep and very cold very quickly.
I suggest going to Bruar Falls near Blair Athol. That's where they filmed some of Rob Roy. Those pools are great for swimming in but can be a tad chilly but beautifully scenic with many consecutive, tumbling waterfalls.. From Blair Athol, drive to Struan and then to Pitlochry over Schiehallion and go have a coffee in Pitlochry. After that, go through the Pass of Killiecrankie before seeing the Queens view on Loch Tummel - it's stunning.

Nice evening, been for a quick ride round the lanes after work and it's cider o'clock now.

Evening folks,
much scorchio here, day of lounging by the pool before going to a slightly further town for food. Had to log in to see the daily thread as I’m losing track already
