Bright and sunny but the forecasted 40 mph plus winds mean I have dipped out on todays club run. So once Bertie’s walked I might just do some packing for tomorrows trip up to Fife.

Day 2 of grey and windy and wet and i'm already fed up of it.
Some chores and stuff.

First: coffee

rode up against very nasty headwind to next town, paid my respects to the cactus

wind eased on the return so not as fast a zoom as expected, but 53/11 all the way including the steep col de la salinas

reached scorchio about 9, just stopped for more coffee and a snack

Got out for a run early-ish to enjoy the best of the day and to get back in time to take DD1 to work for her final day of child labour.

Weather up here has a 'drink coffee and do chores' look about it. Need to sort out an app to run a quiz at an 18th birthday party this weekend (& of course, write the questions - there's no shortage of quality material there).

Back to miserable grey here today so skipped riding this morning and packed a gym bag for the way home.
Did some internet shopping in bed for a polo and loafers as apparently I've left it a little late and the Autumn ranges are now out.
Coffee interspaced with chicken, carrot sticks and a protein shake is the fayre of the morning.

Afternoon Workers and Shirkers,

Looks like we're in between heat waves here so I made the most of it and went for a ride yesterday after work with another one planned for Friday. Got some work to do in the meantime though.
