Brr. 3 degrees brr, Few things to wrap for the dodgy wotsits but apart from that, we're all set.
Some chores perhaps but mainly concentrate on coffee first thing.

A little light shopping today to get stuff for tomorrow's hot lunch picnic in the mountains (sun forecast), but other than that, mostly torpor, enjoying the warmth of the woodburner. Might go for a wander round the block if the sun comes out.

Coffee first, though without the Magnifica S, which, by terrible lack of foresight, I left in Devon. Mind you, probably just as well as I did, as my under-seat rucksack fitted in the easyJet box only with quite a bit of persuasion on Monday (much to the surprise of the agent who already had her card machine at the ready).

Quick tip trip, last few bits from the shops then we're all set. Mrs 666 has almost stopped stressing. May walk the hounds later as well and a bit more sim racing is on the cards. Grog at the ready.

Another grey one and it feels a bit nippy in the breeze. Need to finish my second coffee I went for different beans this time. Uganda Bukonzo, their supposed to have a berry taste and they do.
Next will be walking Bertie who is meltdown phase as there 3 more people in the house and 2 more dogs

Feeling tired today, the dog ate a half eaten kebab last night so was crying all evening with stomach ache. Then was up in the night every two hours to go outside. But we have nothing left to do for christmas other than a bit of housework, and my boss said I can log off at 13:00 today which was nice

Coffee drunk.
Trip to Tesco complete: asked the assistant if it's always this busy at 8am on Wednesday and she said not.
Some Christmasification of the house still to do. 0.5/2.0 of the Christmas food cooking completed.
Oh yes, and Mum admitted to the ICU overnight.
This year might involve more coffee than usual.

Afternoon all. Christmas prepared for mostly by the OH who got a phone call yesterday and has a job to go to in the New Year. Was hoping it would cheer her up but no, she's doubting her abilities to do the new job. Typical women. Currently considering going out on the gravel bike before the sons drag me out for a beer later. Eldest is stopping over tonight which will cheer the OH up. Trying to cheer myself up ATM but struggling a little. Got middle daughter and youngest grandson's over for tea tomorrow so things should cheer up. Sorry to hear your news WM, 🤞 for your mum. Hope you get sorted photonic.
