Stuff done, and even Mrs. 666 is only at Defcon 2 on the stress scale now, so safe to start making a dent in the posh wine stash. Junior only got back from work and hour ago and has gone for a run with mate - fair play to her for being disciplined.

Did a couple of last minute bits in town. I remember when Xmas eve used to see the shops crammed with people, barely a soul out today.
Wife had stuck her dressing gown in the wash, luckily I had bought her a spare for Xmas so I gave her it as an early present. She has now decided we need to relive our childhoods so we are watching 'Home Alone' and eating mince pies.
Merry Xmas, peace on earth, goodwill and all that jazz to one and all.

Evening all, survived a few beers with the 2 son's. Eldest stopping at ours tonight as his GF is at her parents. Only a local spoons, but cheap beer so there happy. Place was rammed. OH chilling watching 💩 on TV. Everything ready for the big day, once ive done the local parkrun. Seasons greetings to all.

Think I've done all the wrapping, but I've not labelled anything yet!
Don't worry, I've got a system. Which means that for the next few years my family will mercilessly remind me of how I accidentally gave my mother some edible undies. Er, no, because I didn't buy any, but it's a good illustration of risk.

Probably I should be going to bed now, but I got sidetracked into board games with the family this evening, and now I'm distracted by Cyclechat. I really should sort out those gifts and get them under the tree.
