Afternoon
Out early to get a few miles before meeting others for the midweek meander. Rather warm and lots of thunderbugs and we made a rookie error by not checking to see if the cafe at the cafe stop was open on a Wednesday. As it wasn’t we had to head to the metropolis of Helmsley and battle with crowds to get a drink.
Still 76 miles done and because my shoulder is still kaput I don’t have to go to Pilates tonight.😀

Been lazy in terms of posting, only excuse is a holiday of ale and pasta.

Work snizzle is fun and running is good especially a quick lunch run today in the heat.

Few friends over tonight for ale so better turn the laptop off soon and help

Lanes and byways from Darkest 30 plus degree South derbyshire to Blackwell in the Peak District near Buxton which is supposed to be 26 degrees. Discovered a nice pub not far away as well.

Not so keen on rock climbing now, only thing i did around there was abseiling off chee dale viaduct for charity and caving.

Cold but sunny day. Decent walk this morning to shop for coffee and chat, somewhat spoilt by cheeky local asking if I was auditioning for the role of Village Idiot, simply because I was wearing shorts. Pffft, it was about 8 degrees at the time, quite pleasant in the sun.
