At least the bike's a non negotiable.
Take care in that heatwave, you may have to remove the waterproof outer layer.
Well it fairly heated up but had an absolute food-mare. Didn't have time to get myself breakfast before the ferry which arrived at Tayvallich before the café opened. Resolved to get something en route but everything was either a couple of miles off route, not opening until the evening or permanently closed. Was nearly reduced to cooking porridge by the side of the A816. Finally got something just after 1 in Oban. Was hoping to get something more on the Craignure ferry but the catering proposition is now a vending machine.
Proper North innit?
Hardly, it's south of Oban. I can think of 3 places that would serve me a decent coffee in Durness today.

Good ride was had. Love this warm stuff. 90 deg F at one hot point (or so it said - road goes through the middle of a farm so shelter from the breeze + white paint + concrete). Rest of the ride was a perfect 23 deg c.
What is 90F compared to 23C?
Are you biking ?
