What is this wet stuff that seems to be falling from the sky. I have a long distant memory of something like that but my mind fails me....

Petrol-powered plant annihilation this morning, in the form of a very overgrown oleander blocking a view. Job done relatively quickly, now just a couple of bins full of shredded shrubbery to be collected Friday. Win!

Sunshine all day. There was coffee, some basking, a bike ride and a walk in the early evening to fill in the rest of the day.

You must have remembered what the thread was like before your last break - it was never a daily discussion of the relative merits of PWR v AGR nuclear reactors and philosophical topics even back then. Sounds like you need to sit down with a good cuppa and relax

Todays Club run did happen apparently it’s posted in events on Strava. However when l look at Strava I can’t see any events. Did a few miles before and after to get a ride in of 67 miles. A fair bit of surface dressing going on in North Yorkshire. It appears to be on roads that will feature in the Tour of Britain. So instead of smooth roads with the odd defect, you now have roads covered in loose chipping.
