About to grab a hotel pig based breakfast. Busy day of meetings and staying over again tonight, so a small taper run and then takeaway chicken, followed by some work. Basically ale avoidance.

A 10 mile run followed by a punnet of Chicken wings and a diet Coke?
Anyhoo - what sort of mad event are you tapering off for?

Morning
Lovely day here and Mrs W has got the cleaning bug. She’s currently mopping the kitchen floor whilst still in her nighty as her friend is coming to visit. I shall go for a bike ride.

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Slow breakfast, ride to Dawlish for pasty lunch, lessons later.

gawd i love dawlish ! im one of those twatty folk who turn up once a year  although welcome holiday park have an odd way of paying means you have to pay 25% of your balance as a minimum payment so you cant pay monthly to spread the cost which is a real PITA ! , considering a different park next time we come that way as having kids and a shutdown mean i have to come at the most expensive time of year .

Well, my pasty will actually be at Forest Fungi between Dawlish and Dawlish Warren - absolutely the best cooked breakfast around.

I do actually realise how lucky I am just to be able to do a short ride on the flat to Dawlish or Budleigh Salterton, or head inland to go across Dartmoor (well, when the ticker isn't being naughty).
