Morning Folks,

Got a half day today as going off to Brands Hatch to do a spot of (virtual) racing with a mate. Think we're doing Monza, Paul Rikard and Zandvoort today, will choose the cars when we get there.

Good timing really, as the power cable for my work laptop gave up the ghost some time yesterday and the battery has just died.

Scorchio indeed. Lots of fluid intake and v little output. Ooh suits you sir. Actually found sitting inside the glasshouse by a big open door was cooler than outside in direct sun, which was nice. Maybe the glass cuts down the UV.

Anyways, do need to get organised for an early start, early bus tomorrow morning. Feels like going back to a different era but the expected consequence of that bad eye big op in Dec 23 was a cataract, which is going to get ultrasounded to oblivion tomorrow. Given the other later events, this is just an aye right bring it on nae bother innat.

Well this was a hot one. Managed my first 100 miler of the year, did get a touch fried. Now seem to have a thirst that’s unquenchable.

Good luck, Loon.

We are a load of crocks. I've got my appointment to fit a 48-hour heart monitor on Friday, and a thoracic echocardiogram in a fortnight. I've worked out that semi-retirement is great as you can just say yes to appointments without having to reorganise loads of work.
