Morning

Bright but nippy.
Will squeeze in those rear brake shoes on the beamer now it's not gopping* like yesterday, then big big wood delivery.

First: coffee

*Wet, I mean really wet.

Clear here, out for a ride after breakfast.
Watched the Aurora in the middle of the night (p time!) Pretty good, would have been even better if moon hadn't been so bright.

Early night last night, but not before I managed a few virtual laps of Imola in a 911 and set a new PB 🙂

Up early again to rinse and repeat in the office, got lots of meetings but this is my last day in town until next Tuesday when more expenses based entertainment is to be enjoyed. Think I need my second coffee.

Seem to have acquired a 2nd car (for DD1 driving practice purposes) so have been addressing the various bits of admin attaching to that.

In the meantime, a promising weather start has clouded over. That and a carp night's sleep probably signals the need for more of the brown sludgy stuff. That and a couple of hours in the passenger seat with DD1 driving should see me wide awake till the weekend.

Warm but damp here, avoided most of it on this mornings walk, but imagine I won’t be as lucky for lunchtime walk.

Should be doing an easy hour run later but may rest and pack my kit for Friday

A groggy start, having got back from the RAH at 3am this morning, woken by a call from the GP that was 15 mins earlier than expected, and now taking intravenous caffeine. Nice batch of emails (including a grand plan that looks like it might be working out) in the inbox to respond to once my brain is working.

Grey and damp, so probably only the ride into town for a bit of work later.

Disappointingly cool and breezy day, had plans for stuff to do but not worth the effort in the conditions. Faffed in shed with bike build instead, and decided I really really hate internal cable routing. Still some fiddling to do with it to get all the bits tidy and operating smoothly. Tomorrow maybe.

Builder bloke round to discuss bathroom refit works for next year

Afternoon.
A damp and soggy day here, did manage a bike ride even had bare legs. Which in November is unheard for me. However it is now the time of year where you spend as long cleaning your bike as you do riding it.
Took winter bike in the shopto get bottom bracket sorted and catch up on the gossip.

A possibly exciting site meeting tomorrow:smile:
