Trailer would be a luxury for me at this stage, just in case it doesn't work out! That said, I do keep an eye out on gumtree for a used trailer/bargain as it is something I have considered![]()
Took me by surprise I swear. I had guests and was wildly casting about for something to cook. Thought I might find a nice easy fillet of something but there it was, making that sideways kissy-face at me...Is there any other forum on which people would post about impulse-buying a turbot?

Sounds lovely, but re the nuts trees - the squirrels will always get there first I'm afraid.I may have to go and get apples on the Peugeot this weekend. The berm around our subdivision has trees, seemingly selected at random, including several apple trees. Nothing like going straight to the source. We are also getting some sort of edible forest at a nearby (3 mi ) park, which is supposed to have many nut and fruit trees so children can be taught to fend for themselves. I may volunteer with the project, just to learn and help out a bit.
The Fox Squirrel, most common in my area, sometimes approaches 2 lbs in size.Sounds lovely, but re the nuts trees - the squirrels will always get there first I'm afraid.
Mind you, you can always eat the squirrels.
Goodness, just googled it. Edible, I assume. The Fox Squirrel, most common in my area, sometimes approaches 2 lbs in size.
I'll stick with the supermarket deli counter!Goodness, just googled it. Edible, I assume.
I like the boxy shape - one thing about using a box or basket is that you have structure to protect the squashier items. I would be leery of the words "water-resistant", which essentially mean "not waterproof", but that's only a problem if you're likely to shop in the rain, and of course you can always take a few carrier bags to use as liners.I'll stick with the supermarket deli counter!
Can anyone recommend some good/cheap panniers? Has anyone seen these? http://www.halfords.com/cycling/acc...ara-xl-water-resistant-double-pannier-bag-35l
