Weinmann Vanquere 610 & 750 questions

My vintage bike is fitted with Weinmann Vanquere centre pull brakes, 610 on the front & 750 on the rear. Am I right in thinking that this is the correct set up for this type of bike ? Also, there is a number stamped onto the back of the brakes. The 610 has 1.83 stamped on it and the 750 has 7.82. I am assuming that these are codes for date of manufacture, am I correct?

I'm sure they are date stamps, lots of bikes came with deeper drops on the rear, typically Raleigh / Carlton.
