On my ride yesterday there was this strange effect I came across.
I had ridden down one side of this valley which was quite steep and began to climb the other side. Because I had been riding quickly and the bike had slowed down to a crawl the whole thing felt like I had come up against a brick wall. My brain wanted me to go faster, but physically I couldn't as I would of out paced myself. I had to stop so that my brain could catch up with the idea that I had to crawl up the other side.
Has anybody else had this?
