Weird little habits

I've picked up a peculiar habit of picking leaves from bushes as I walk along the street (in very small numbers)...I like to fold them (especially the waxy ones that crack when they fold) for some reason.

I've not realised I do it until about 10 minutes ago when I walked behind a chap doing the same thing and thought "Odd...I do that too!"

so, any of you lot have a habit that you assumed was just yours, until you one day realised everybody does (nothing obsessive like hand washing, treading on cracks or buying BMW's please!)

As a teenager, walking home from school, I used to pretend my right hand was a superhero, jumping (fingers for legs) from bush to bush, tree to tree, fence to fence, etc. The men in white coats said it was perfectly normal.

Yep I do the same.

And I pull the little balls off fir trees too. (i dont know the technical term)

I peel the labels off beer bottles, roll them up and fold them in half and squish them flat.

I never thought about it before but I do that all the time.

Oh, and I also sniff milk every time I use it, because I once poured sour milk on some cereals.

Whenever I pick up a glass I always inspect the bottom of it (Looking from the top to the inside bottom), not really sure why, I think it's because I once picked one up, never checked and it had some crusty food or drink at the bottom and it's just eventually become habit.

I don't generally eat sweets now but I used to make mini-paper planes from Opel Fruit wrappers.

Dunno if it's a weird little habit or OCD....

In a pub, if I have a bag of peanuts (and I often do), I open the bag right up, and sort out the loose halves of nuts, from the ones that are still whole. And eat the halves first.

And when I cook pasta and sauce for dinner (and I often do), I serve the sauce on top of the pasta, but then eat it off the top first, and save most of the pasta for last.

Yeah, it's OCD isn't it?
