Whenever I pick up a glass I always inspect the bottom of it (Looking from the top to the inside bottom), not really sure why, I think it's because I once picked one up, never checked and it had some crusty food or drink at the bottom and it's just eventually become habit.
You're probably just checking it doesn't contain the King's shilling

I can't help sniffing milk before I use it, even in someone else's house! But I roll crisp packets up and tie a knot in them.

I can't believe I just posted that - obviously haven't got enough to do today.

I roll crisp packets and tie them in a knot too. Sometimes two knots if its a large bag.

OCD Arch, nothing to worry about, it means you're slightly mentally unstable that's all ;)

Mine is number related, I have to stop the oven/microwave counter on an even number never an odd, unless it's a 5
Same in the car, radio volume can't be on an odd number.

You'd be no good as a member of Spinal Tap then. Their amps go to Eleven.

When reading a book, after turning a page and beginning to read the first line of the new page I almost always turn back to re-read the last line of the page I have just finished before continuing, and I have no idea why.

Confused? I am!

Dunno if it's a weird little habit or OCD....

In a pub, if I have a bag of peanuts (and I often do), I open the bag right up, and sort out the loose halves of nuts, from the ones that are still whole. And eat the halves first.
You are not alone with that one; do you nibble the rabbits' heads off the ends of the half nuts too?

On a certain stretch of my commute I like to see how many lamp posts I can pass by before a car passes me.

When I have finished my meal I often (not always) fold the edge of the table cloth back over the table top. I'm told my grandmother used to do the same thing. Maybe it's genetic.

Also.

Recently I became aware of something I have been doing for years and never actually realised it.

When I go to someones house, ring the bell, they open the door, ask me to come in and for some odd reason as I pass through the door way I tap gently on the door frame twice.

No idea when I started doing it and no idea why.

After every time that I inject insulin I always lick the needle.

What the insulin is suspended in tastes like the smell of hospitals.
