The loo roll has to come over the top, not dropped down the back. I have been known to change the roll in friend's houses and in public loos!

My daughter had a thing about numbers & colours when she was about 7; if she stood on black Tarmac in her head that colour was a number which she had to count to that number repeatedly until she walked on a different colour and it all started again. It really upset her at the time.

Your boxes sound much more interesting than a "flat" one

Cheers, here a photo of one used for a ring.

Not really a habit but I have a real dislike for strong smells and loud noises so tend to avoid perfumes, scented cleaning products and people, especially in groups.

I like my routines and do things like always wash in the same way, eat at the same times where possible, put things back where I picked it up. I did some cleaning (as a job) for a while and was told by another cleaner that I should always put things back differently so the client knows I have cleaned under it. I worked on the basis that the client doesn't want to know that I have been there at all, only that the place is clean, so things go back where the client put it originally. Anyway, that's how I would want it if I had a cleaner.
Didn't last long doing that job.

I used to think that if I folded my bus ticket in all sorts of directions, and leave on the bus so someone would find it and they would think that it was an unfolded origami masterpiece, rather than the work of a fidgity idiot.

When I used to return home after drinks, I liked tapping the tops of fence posts and gate posts as I walked. This stopped when I was pulled over by some very eager police who were convinced that I had been seen throwing something incriminating behind a garden wall when I saw them. They were very disappointed when they took a look and finally listened to what I was saying. I did have a drunken chuckle about that.

I guess it can be a huge blessing for parents of a diagnosed child. But not always so for a late diagnosis of an adult.

I think if I were an adult that had struggled through life, always felt a bit odd or out the loop, didn't quite fit in, had unusual tendencies or habits - I'd really like like to know there was an actual reason, something that although not treatable, could be made easier with behaviour management & the right support, that once others knew, they might be a bit more understanding & accepting.

Well I did say earlier:

"Having "answers" can be a huge benefit and also the diagnosis itself can lead to possible therapies too, if indeed they're wanted."

At Christmas, I eat all the Ferrero Rocher chocs and crumple the empty wrappers inside each other until I have made a replica (unopened) choccy and put it back in the box.

I don't notice I'm doing it, but I keep clenching my fingers into a fist. Something to do with my nerves, or stress I think.

Oh, when I'm watching Sky TV I can only watch channels beginning with a 9

I do agree but also would add that many people will inevetably go through life feeling like this, simply because they are in the wrong situation.

I once went to a bash and felt totally out of place, had trouble finding a common ground with most people there and eventually gave in to the conclusion that the people there just weren't my cup of tea.

Imagine if I had to work with those guys every day, for my entire carreer...I would feel like "I" was the one not fitting in.

It could drive you to all the wrong conclusions.

Something else I caught myself doing earlier today - I can't bear to have keys and loose change in the same pocket; they must be separated.

I'm going to stop reading this thread - I'm beginning to find that a lot of the quirks mentioned so far are things that I also do, but hadn't realised until now!
