Having just posted a list of three missing cherished LPs here, I've just visited Ebay and found copies of all three of them listed.

Ranting Lads by High Level Ranters
Brendan Voyage by Liam O'Flynn
The Last of the Travelling Pipers by Felix Doran

They will be arriving in the next three to five days.

Then I remembered that I'd also lent out 'Traditional Music on the Hammer Dulcimer' by John Rea and it was still AWOL.

Went back to Ebay and Bingo!

Seeing that I've been searching unsuccessfully on Ebay and other music sites for six or seven years, to locate and buy them all in five minutes has left me jubilant.

Now about to purchase some poteen to celebrate their arrival.

Woop woop!

maybe the person who lifted them from you wanted shot of them and put them on ebay. not weird at all.

Sadly I find the players more attractive than the music.

EDIT

I'd not mourn a loss of their music from my collection.

vernon you wait till they go missing again

I no longer lend out vinyl.

What really makes me riled is out there somewhere is a 'friend' who has all four albums...I have vague recollections of assembling a taster session of 'hard core' piping and duclimer music with The Brendan Voyage included as a contemporary contrast.

I have my suspicions...
