I came across this on Facebook. The video is about a year old and I suppose there could be repeated instances of this in the current cold snap in the USA It's quite creepy.

Are we sure that it wasn't just the result of an explosion at the local Sourkraut factory??

I like it, its much more civilised and relaxed than an avalanche. There's time to pack away your shopping, move the garden furniture and car and start filming. America of all places should be thankful for these, they save lives. Even the morbidly obese can outrun a glacier. My local council however seems to think glacial pace is pretty speedy

Local council? Speedy? For Lancashire CC the word "Mañana" has an air of catastrophic urgency.
