I put this in here as a piece of fitness gear, but mods feel free to move it elsewhere if required.

Daughter #3 not having a good day with her cat dying. Still, Fitbit have cheered her up.

She lost her Fitbit last week. She thinks it probably came off her wrist last week when she was at the dog racing. She contacted Fitbit to see if it could be traced in any way.

They checked their records, it hasn't been synced since she last did so herself a day or so before she lost it. But not to worry, they said, we'll send you a new one!

So top marks to Fitbit. It wasn't asked for, was completely unexpected, but what a fantastic bit of customer service.

I got a used Charge 2 for cheap last year. The only reason I did so was to keep up with the “wellness” program that we’re constrained to participate in. I now actually kind of like it—it serves as a watch and alerts me to texts and phone calls. The only down side is that it does a poor job syncing with the iPhone. Constantly have to reboot the latter.
