Well done Wiggle and Royal Mail

I ordered 8 inner tubes off Wiggle last Friday (for £16 could of got them for £14 if I'd remembered the British cycling Wiggle shop Arrggghgggghhhh!!!!) and thought I won't see them until the new year... So as I was down to my last inner tube I stripped a tube out of "the winter bike" so I could carry as many tubes as I have wheels... but I shouldn't have bothered as.....

I got an email Friday to say the order had been processed

An email to say it was to be delivered today followed by text saying the same thing both at 7.00 am this morning

The Postie walked into my workplace with them at 8.45....

The 2 minutes later I got a text to say they had been delivered....not bad the week before Christmas

Free postage and Haribo to boot!
Note: I do use LBS a lot (bought 2 tyres off him last week and the Defy in October) but wouldn't insult him by asking to sell me inner tubes at £2 quid each!

No....sorry I don't patch..... Mended one for Mrs V and it was flat next day (I have successfully patched in the past though) and decided it wasn't worth the ear ache for 2 quid

I absolutely love wiggle service - especially the long return period should your item not fit or be quite right.

Ages ago I started a thread about who patches/who doesn't.... I think from memory I think it was split 50/50 between what a waste! and life's too short/cant bothered.... (interestingly a lot of people said thy saved them to patch but never actually got round to it)

I don't see the point of Royal Mail texts saying they've delivered your parcel - you should already know that if it has been delivered!!!

Useful if you get stuff delivered to work as you can then go chase whoever receives the deliveries.
