How else can you explain the year round DFS sales. Has anyone ever bought a sofa at full price there?
Surely everyone knows the sales prices are a con. Dont get caught out by this half price sale nonsense.

You'd be an idiot to pay full price for anything nowadays anyway; you can always get a discount or a sweetener or find the item cheaper elsewhere.

TBH I don't understand why we have to pay trading standards officers to pursue this sort of nonsense. All the customer has to do is look at the product, look at the price and ask "is this product worth buying at the price offered?" That's not a difficult proposition.

[BTW, I agree that trading standards do have other worthwhile powers.]
