Nice workshop, would suit me down to the ground. Colchester centre lathe and a Beavermill Milling machine?
The machined nuts are probably for a machine leadscrew, looks like a trapezoidal thread, so yes the work of a craftsman,an ever diminishing group.
They used to train all mechanical apprentices in these skills, nowadays they do not even teach them how to sharpen a twist drill!!!

Here's one:

The Britool spanners I bought when I was an apprentice, 35 years ago are as good as new, and yes they have been used a lot! Can't remember how much they were but I used to get £2 of my £24 a week taken out of my wages for quite a while to pay for them and the rest of the kit.

Tool clubs were the only way you could afford decent gear. I started on £12 a week in 74,
I have only got 3 Britool combi spanners left out of a full set I bought in 1979, a 17mm,a 19mm and a 22mm. The 10,13, 17 and 24 disappeared long ago. They were my first metric set! I still love just holding them, they just feel right. You get it don't you?

My dad manages a sort of charity in the village where I grew up - someone died many many years ago and left a crap load of money in trust so that kids in the village get contributions towards the tools they buy for apprenticeships.

I wanted a Snap-On tool chest, but seeing as they were north of a grand I ended up settling for a clark one for about £150. It's red and has roller bearings, but obviously the wrong label.

As for Strap-On, I did adorn my car with one such sticker for it's trip to Le Mans last year - if you look really carefully there is a cut out phallus in the S

I have a Snap-on cantilever hand toolbox which is about 40 years old.

One of the mechanics at the garage where I used to be a Saturday boy gave it to me.

It had been run over a few times, straightened as many and resprayed.

Still functions as it should - it will outlast me.
