Well that just about wraps it up for Summer 2014 .....

Pretty good for me - a shoulder injury has curtailed my usual outdoor swimming activities but I have been out on the bike more and got my 'bent integrated into my general cycling, which has been lovely.

I kinda like the mixture we've had of hot weather - rainy weather - fine - bit of rain etc as it's been pretty good for the garden, apart from the gale force winds which were a bit worrying (we have a lot of trees).

I'm also just going to do a fantastic play, having just made the video trailer, so I'm really looking forward to that.

Sorry to hear about people's health issues though - and sorry if anyone's been drowned by the rain!

I didn't go away except for doggie/house sitting which brought in some welcomed cash apart form that just another summer, not looking forwards to the winter now.

I've quite enjoyed the summer this year. It seemed longer than usual! Although I don't like sleeping in the heat it didn't seem to affect my cycling, some of my fastest rides came on the hottest evenings!

Hot and dry and very enjoyable, although, apart from commuting, haven't been out on the CAAD as much as I'd like to have done due to a painful shoulder (wear and tear over the years, I think).

Can't wait for winter! More hot and dry!

I hope summer '14 is not yet over as I'm heading south to a lovely little village not far from Beaumes de Venise where I hope to whizz up a well-known bump on the landscape. I hope to beat a fellow CC'er's time up the hill - not that I'm competitive.
So I hope summer is still in full swing and my training has been adequate!

It has been good here, and I am hoping for a few more weeks of reasonable weather as MrsP, myself and the dog are off to North Yorkshire for a week or so soon.

Weather not that good when i was not working and then a bad back knocked me for six.

I must admit i do like Autumn and this years purchase of a disc braked bike means on those soggy but sunny days i no longer wince as my rims are ground away.

Too much time spent on the consequences of getting unhitched from the Mrs. and not enough on the bike. Apart from that some great weather earlier on, and 20 more days before Autumn starts.

Great summer. First one of cycling longer distances. Did a night ride. A few Audax rides. Round the Isle of Wight. Lots of chilling out by the beach.
Looking forward to autumn and more cycling especially as I have fitted mudguards. Woo hoo

Weather pretty good here. But only on the days I was child minding granddaughters. Didn't get out cos the 2 days I had off it persisted it down.
