Well the winter time is coming...

I'm going to check out the autumn colour in the countryside this weekend. With daytime temperatures here in London hitting 18 - 20ºC this week, I'm happy to call this season autumn. Global warming will have hit seriously by the time December - February is this warm.

Ah, but you live in Sassenach-shire :biggrin::biggrin:

This is true. We got lots of summer down in the south here this year (I think we got some of yours, too) and much of it was very nice. Life, as they say, is a beach.

Still hot. Nearly November and still shorts.

If you need some inspiration and tips for winter cycling, VeloWeb has a page specifically for winter commuters (which I'm not allowed to link directly).

Surely the fact that you have the link in your sig is enough though? Where else would you need one? I keep everyone happy with having my links in my sig so that they don't clutter my posts.

Looks like you have harsher winters than I do here in Scotland though....

As long as I breathe, I attack.
Felt unsafe riding home in the dark on unlit single track roads today, i am considering switching back to my alternate route although its more dangerous traffic wise.

Had a fantastic ride home (17-18 miles) yesterday, in the dark from start to finish. First 1/3 is town, then lanes with traffic. Last 2/3 is lanes with almost no traffic... owls, bats, the lot.... wonderful
