Please don't tell us if they all started first time and didn't require a 1-2-hr maintenance job to get rolling under their own steam power ...

(with what I know of you - they are probably perfect runners, all the time ...)

(... and they might well be steam powered ...)

I bet it's still 3 channels though.

Three? Bloody hell, when would anyone get the time to watch three channels?

I had a MZ 250 in the 80s. I even had a sidecar for it! It wasn't fast, well in solo set up and gearing it would squeeze 90mph on a good day/wind behind it, but it was quiet and a lovely ride. With the chair and lowered gearing it could still top 70mph.

I'd really lke to put a sidecar on mine. Been thinking of making a 20's style one for it.

Have you seen the price of them on Fleecebay?

Alan...

Unbelievable, I know. There's a Suzuki AP 50 rotting in a back garden near me - I can just about see it from my bedroom window. The guy won't sell it because he's going to restore it. Given that he doesn't know which end of a hammer to hold, I'll just have to watch it rot beyond repair.

Offer to help him HD then you could "borrow" it for a while. It will have to be "tested"
