I remember rumours of the AP50 being faster than my FS1-E.... which once did 54 downhill flat out. Those were the days, working all hours in a pub kitchen to get the money for the deposit when I was 16.

I really wanted a FS1E when I was sixteen, but I couldn't afford one.
Turns out I still can't.

I spent all my week-ends trailing after apprentice/ working friends who'd traded up to Kawasaki z250s, Suzuki Ramjet 250s... I usually got to places in time for them to head back. The heady days of Saturday jobs and the freedom of Sundays!

My mate said his AP did 56 so it must be true.
