Fell off the bike again !

Fell off last week on Friday, prett bad, knee badly hurt, top of the thigh, along with shoulder and elbow, and bang my head badly on the concrete.

Anyway Yesterday did the same fell off again and injured exactly the same areas, banged my head on the tarmac again.

Never thought the 20,000 mile mark would be marked in such a way !!!

But onward and upwards, another 4,000 and I will have cycled around the world

Be careful out there !

That's some impressive milage! Keep it up. With more experience you might fall off less frequently.

Well done on the 20,000 miles.:bravo: I can sympathise with the offs though - I did that halfway round my first ever 50 miler and it bloody hurt!! I was so glad of a helmet!

All I can say is pick yourself up and carry on, you are doing great!:hyper:

I smacked my head good twice but the helmet saved me a trip to the doctor for sure.

When I first fell off, all I remember when I got us is that someone on a helmet debate on here said that when ou fell of you don't hit your head anyway, and I thought they were bloody wrong !! The second time all I was concerned about was whether I had broken the work mobile phone that was in my pocket and whether I had scratched my frame.

Just for the record everyone I am not starting the helmet debate, I don't care if people do or don't I do but I don't think badly of either camp really, so I am not opening all that up again !

I hit my head twice, with some force the helmet was in place and in my humble opinion it did its job very well.

So we can leave that can of worms alone if that's okay with everyone !

LOL !

must admit I did fall off on the GBW cycle track !

Ouch! I did the same last year before the track opened for buses. A kingfisher flew past near the Fen Drayton Lakes, and I was too busy watching the bird rather than where I was going. Flippin' painful! Anyway all the best for a speedy recovery.

for wildlife its brilliant, and now its tarmac, it must be on of the the best commutes in britain for a cyclist.
