John Sessions I believe played Arthur Lowe- I'm not sure I've seen a better impersonation of someone before.
Some nice touches too such as the origin of the 'don't like it up'em' line. And did everyone really smoke that much in the 70s?!
All in all very good and well worth watching.

Aye, amazing. Everyone managed to capture the essence of each of the characters they played; I can only imagine their portrayal of the real person was as good. It has filled me with some Christmas joy - or maybe that's the beer

That isnt a spolier, it is well known that the cast disliked him as he was as like his character in real life.

I watched the show and loved it. The ensemble cast was fantastic, with some well known names and faces, but john sessions' performance was remarkable.
