As with the young guy who cycled to Australia recreating his dad's earlier trip, why are cycling advocacy interested parties not getting this out there nationally to demonstrate the joys of what you can do on a bicycle.

Quite a few years ago I sold a an elderly Giant Peleton to a young male student who along with two mates were cycling around Europe starting the following day whilst they studied life as he called it .

No plans other than each day as it came along, I never did find out if he completed the journey or not.
