Seriously, what the hell is going on there?! There seem to be two different cyclists (one high-vized, one with helmet) but only one bike?

If your area's covered, if you search for a location there'll be a 'Street view' link in the little 'speech-bubble' that points to your location on the map.

Eg search Google Maps UK for 'Shore, Edinburgh' to see this in action.

Though, I now hate you as I've spent about an hour looking for a location where I might of been on it, just to find out It's not got any photos...how can you access street view through normal google maps?

We can also use this streetview function to fuss about people:

http://googlesightseeing.com/maps?p...bp=12,47.719273916971595,,0,35.36036986739541

Ah, but he's got his hazards on - which is motorists' magic that allows them to park on double-yellows in a cycle lane.

Ohh nice one! I feel really sad, but I might post google s'view links on youtube incident videos. Norwich is pretty well covered.

If you move along the road you see that the 2 cyclist have hit each other. It is difficult to see what order the photos go in as the Google Camera Car swaps from one side of Stokes Croft to the other.
This is the one immediately prior to your one.

The skateboarder has moved down the hill (one way moving away from the crash). It looks to me as if both were in the wrong - one going the wrong way up the hill and the other RLJ. Shame it is at the start of a run as that means there are no previous shots.

So, now let's play detective...what happened?

I'm going to blame the guy in the hi-viz ... just because.

Maybe the guy in the black jumped off the pavement in front of him? Though it looks like it was probably a red light...

any other ideas?

I'm stumped. WTF is going on? Did the hiviz rider jump the red light (where all the cars are waiting) and the guy in the black t-shirt feel justified in pushing him over? What the hell's going on? I mean what the hell is going on?

It is quite obvious ....

One rider is wearing a helmet and hence has overcompensated in a false sens of security and misjudged the incident?

More serioulsy.... from the angles, the gut with the helmet is oroceeding to the right and would appear to have come from the junction?

The road immediately beyond the cyclist (where the skateboarder is) is where I broke my arm last month!!! So it almost could of been me!!!

This junction is currently being dug up and redesigned due to accidents between cars/bikes - so I think cars will no longer be able to turn left into city road.

The guy in the yellow Hi vis if he was coming from the direction suggested by his bike must have jumped the lights... the car is waiting at the line in that direction (plus traffic is moving down Stokes Croft (cyclist and car beyond the lights). The guy in Black could have come down the Gloucester road and be turning off down the one way street - Upper York St. So I think the hi-vis guy is in the wrong.

Edit - replaced Gl rd with Stokes Croft - out of habit I call the whole lot the Gloucester Road
