What a beautiful day

The weather was fantastic today ... my first time this year baring bits of my legs and arms.... I want more more more of it!!!

Lots of cyclists out and about too ... went into town about 6pm and counted 90+ cyclists on route, and then over 30 on the way back despite taking back routes part of the way and not remembering to count every one I saw.

I would like more of you baring your arms and legs summerdays - ah damn I didn't mean it like that... what I meant was yes I agree that it was beautiful from dawn to dusk and it 'livelys up yourself'.
I was later getting away this evening, so missed the full blast of sun commute. Still worked up a sweat chasing down red light jumper cyclists though - welcome sun, welcome!

Well, it was alright. A bit shitty here in the morning, but cleared up in the afternoon. I drove into work today as I have developed lazyitus. However I was itching to get home and go straight out on my road bike to take advantage of the perceived good weather. It was lovely even though the wind was horrendous. I had some nasty crosswinds and the headwinds weren't much better. Despite my battle with the wind it was an enjoyable enough ride and it was warm enough despite the wind to wear short sleeves.

After a very bearable winter, cold but little wind and relatively dry, now we seem to be into the season of gales and driving rain. April has been just too windy to achieve reasonable speeds on the bike.

Off work with 'bad back' but felt, miraculously, fine today.

Planned to go out for a little ride, but the walk to the shops with the family elongated out to an hour in short sleeves and shades outside a cafe, and then a 30 min walk to the sushi restaurant; followed by bus back in time for the footy. Happy day

London was bathed in beautiful sunshine all day. And I am lucky that my office window over looks the River Thames.. and it look glorious.

It was glorious here - which is why I didn't get as many strange looks as usual, having abandoned jeans for shorts in early March.

I had the luxury of a 3mile bus/50mile train/1mile walk this morning as I commuted into London.

It was a beautiful day. "The girls put on their summer clothes" (I think that’s what you meant Aperitif ) It was lovely.


I’m still very jealous though. I didn’t get out on the bike at all

It was lovely, but bloody windy in the Peak district. Particularly going up hill, naturally.

It is awful, awful hot, sunny weather ... awful, that is, for those of us (muggins) stuck indoors writing a dissertation.

What! I'm obviously in the wrong place. It was foggy all morning with the odd bit of drizzle. it didn't start clearing up until around 1-2pm ish, then there was still no sun. The wind gave me a bit of a break today at least.

I'm a bit miffed about this alleged heat wave.
