What a prize pillock. Anyone who's operated a nail gun will know you have to apply pressure to the gun nozzle in the direction you want to nail it before you can press the trigger. If the picture is of the bloke, then it certainly looks like the cretin held the gun to the back of his head and pulled the trigger. Accident my arse.

OT - At what point is this news? It is a bloke in Chicago (in the usa, for all americans that might be reading) - anyone else notice more and more usa 'news' being fed to us?

If it is like this, then why can't we hear more of what's going on in France (25/30 miles from us) instead of the default 'Look what's going on in the usa' - who, by my basic calculations, are 3000+ miles away?

A nail in the skull is more interesting than a cheese eating convention. Simples.

Oh, come on, surely we have progressed as a nation to embrace foreign cultures, from the old days of car-crash rubber-neckers?

Maybe not.

I would give equal weight to a French report of a sub-cranial nail incident but I've not seen any interesting French mishaps reported perhaps they are dismissed with a Gallic shrug of the shoulders and literary output focussed on existentialist tomes.
