Took the mrs out yesterday to get her own bike as she has been using mine and its been a little to big for her (around 7inches to big) so took her to LBS. Anyway we had a budget of £400 and it was a choice of a BH bike or a Claude Butler, both road frames. Well I let her choose her own bike as she is riding it and she went for the women's rule of thumb 'what colour is it?' and went with the red CB. Anyway the LBS who I know said that as we didn't ask for a discount he was going to throw in some freebies. Well, £100 of freebies later and we pick up the bike on Thursday. How Jammy can she be.

She is now doing her first ladies only club run on saturday, and she hasn't stopped going on about it......... bleeding cyclists

I just hope its not a flash in the pan, but she seems really keen and excited to be doing a new sport. Give it time, I'll get her on the track, then she won't be excited then
