I took one look at the weather forecast this morning and decided to take the car.

All those black cloads, thunder and lightning rather put me off cycling.

I'm now sat at work with the air-con on looking at a glorious sunny day wishing I had rode in.

I hope the heavens open about 5:30 tonight to justify me having driven into work. If it stays fine I wont have be annoyed.

I think you should change your name to PinkBike, you big girl's blouse ;)

I quite like cycling to work in the rain. I must look like a looney when I'm sat at lights, rain pouring off my face and a big grin on my face.

I'm the same, you can't stop it so you may as well relax and look at all the people failing to keep dry instead.

HTFU.....lovely ride in, especially after two days looking at the weather and not being able to ride cos of this blasted shoulder....

Even rode through a flood - feet in air, fixed pedals spinning - knees got wet !!!

Might be chucking it down tonight, hence I've got my Hope lights with me...

Here for rides.
I just declared a SoRN on my car.... rain or shine I'm now either cycling or using the train until the end of August.

I think its more fun when its heavy! If its going to rain, it may as well rain *properly*.

I keep dry clothes at work anyway so if I do get drenched, it doesnt matter.

As I dont own a car, the only other choice is to leave early and get a bus!

/me shudders

I have colleagues who think I'm mad for cycling in the rain. I point out to them that one of the first things I do on arriving at work is to have a shower. So what's the big deal if I've had a bit of a pre-wash?

Thunder and lightning here in Warrington and I finish work in two hours. Just stuck my head out of the door and it smells so fresh. I've got overshoes, rainlegs and a jacket in my bag; looking forward to a bit of cooling rain on the way home.

It was looking like it was going to pee down this morn on the way home from work... made my legs work double fast to try to outrun it... yes racing with the wind (and rain) :o)
