A solution for some very very limited problems I suspect...being spread, unnecessarily (IMO) , into the wider world.
Would i have an implant for anything other than medical reasons...not on your ferkin nelly. I use a fob at work, works perfectly well.

Did not a University do this a few years ago, implant students with a RF chip so that doors opened as they walked towards them & stayed locked if their access didn't allow it
