What are the odds of getting from Otley to Harrogate on Saturday?

Cycling would be the best choice but isn't possible sadly. Our youngest is six and can't cycle that far on a single speed with 16" tyres. Next time it comes here they'll all be older. If we see you in Otley we'll be the one's with the inflatable Zebra .

Thanks for the train info, I'll check that out. Getting into Leeds and parking won't be easy either. We went to a wedding at Leeds City Hall a few weeks ago. It's bad enough on a normal Saturday. other stations on the route may be great option. Only potential downside would be getting stuck in Harrogate if the trains are busy. Wouldn't be much different to getting stuck in our van I guess.

The trains an option. I think getting out of Leeds on a train might be problematic too. We may just stay in Otley as it's a hub town too. Sunday's the best option to see more as we're in a prime place for Haworth or Oxenhope Moor on foot.

I'd have preferred Otley too but Ilkley is also a hub town............... and has a station. Getting to Harrogate should be ok, they have a lot of extra train services planned and I don't think many locals will be chasing the race.

My good lady and I will be riding out to Silsden Sunday.
