One Last Saturday Night by Grateful Dead from 1972 - great slice of rock and roll and well worth a few minutes of your time if you can spare it!!

Currently listening to the 'Live Europe 72' CD set which features this song :becool:

Good work, Threebikes. Comparing this with your new Hartford '77 and Europe '72 versions, and the one from the legendary night of 8 May 1977 in my signature, it's interesting to see how the level of jauntiness (not to mention Jerry's solos/fills) varied, which reflected both Jerry's mood and the changing spin the band liked to put on the song's groove. And this song was just filler material between the epic stuff! :becool:

Anyway, today I fished out Joy of a Toy by Kevin Ayers again. Very nice album, with Religious Experience (how ironic) being the standout track. The song commences at 6'50" in THIS trio of songs from the album.

While I'm in this area, Hold Me Back by Patto is also a cracking track.

Thanks for the reminder Foghat. Another Kevin Ayers offering that sounded a lot better in the heady days of THC.....
