Spot on....

+1 for the new Leftfield album. Worth the wait.

Someone will have to explain the appeal of the Sleaford Mods though. They do a guest stint on the aforementioned Leftfield album and also on a track on the latest Prodigy offering. Both are a bit shít to my uneducated ear.

Also been listening to a band I stumbled upon on Spotify called Sensations Fix. They were an Italian prog rock outfit back in the 70s.

@Berk on a Bike re Sleaford Mods.
They are marmite.. chap in the office here loves them and plays them a lot.
They do have something - the singer is a story teller definitely. Some of his lyrics are very observant, witty and sharp.
I can listen to them, but not for long as they soon start to grate with the relentlessness of it.

Every office must have one fan because there's a colleague of mine who's the same. I only had to mention their name and he was emailing me links to youtube and soundcloud. I gave it a go but couldn't take to it.

I've got Fragments of Light by them.

Been listening to a lot of instrumental music recently, my latest discovery is the guitarist Mark Lettieri, a bit jazzy but still very melodic:
