I listened t the Who's greatest hits this afternoon and the selection of songs ranges from undeniably brilliant to leaving you wondering why they bothered to record some of the stuff.

Got some stuff off a friend recently and found myself listening to a bit of Manfred Mann - jesus! 'Ha ha said the clown'...give me strength. Did people really listen to that back in the 60s? No wonder they needed so many drugs...
