"Adventures of the Krewmen" by the Krewmen

The drummer was a few years older than me at school and his parents house was quite close to ours so I used to hear him practising. He used to cruise round in a rather cool vintage VW.

Double Nickels on the Dime - the Minutemen's shambling masterpiece as they threw of the hardcore straight jacket and got all funky.

(Most people would recognise the track "Corona" as it was used as the theme music for jackass)

Been catching up on old issues of the Bike Show podcasts going back to 2006/2007.
Also to podcast from German radio station Deutsvhlandfunk, equivalent to BBC R4 - I like the "Reportage" programmes.

Whilst typing this listening to stream from Resonance FM, home of the Bike Show!

D Boon's been killed and the Minutemen are no more. The best rhythm section in punk regroups, Hurley and Watt recruit ed fROMOHIO, firehose is up and running and they're Ragin', full on.

[Stick with the vid - starts out like a gay porn flick, but is actually some great old school street skating - check out the "Natas spin" at 1:08]

The Sound of White - Missy Higgins.

Beautiful voice with rather a strange accent, but love her style which oozes passion. Currently on this one.

The accent really makes that - good to hear singing in something other than generic mid-atlantic.
