Lying in bed listening to Classic FM playing Dunbar's Theme from Dances with wolves.
I grew up in Kilnhurst, and our neighbour was Frank Davis. He was always fettling cars, doing DIY, and rode a Carlton Kermesse.
When he was dying from prostate cancer he gave me that Kermesse.
He left this world in his sixties far too early. At his funeral Dunbar's theme was played, and his widow revealed that like me he was a John Barry fan. Something I never knew.
Bless you Frank. I remember you.
