Thanks. And of sunlight??

Acht, I should just look this up, but since I'm here, I might as well ask! ^_^
MDB, spinach is like lettuce, just an edible grass: go plant, water if weather is dry (never here!) watch grow, wash well before use or you'll boil a centipede with your spinach like I did

Thanks. For some strange reason, I quite like spinach.

The garlic's growing, the spuds are chitting, rhubarb's forcing and I'm hoping the tomatoes are going to germinate soon.

Just starting off growing our own this year as we have moved into a house with a garden worth making an effort with.

The soil has been turned and weeds/roots removed. got a few things like lettuce and radishes in the greenhouse
Im looking to make some rased beds for veggies. Any ideas for construction?

And is it really too late for garlic? Why didn't I think of that!

My hair.

We moved into a north/east facing second floor apartment in December, so I think the chance of growing anything (even in tubs on the balconies) is pretty low.

Or in my case a cute small snail crawling out of the saucepan (and I did think I had washed it!!).
