Here for rides.
thats what I used to get when commuting... I genuinely think it started to 'appear' in my driving as well  ... I mean, I'd get annoyed , but after I started commuting, I'd get my heart racing as well.... ooops
When cycle commuting if I get angry I now stop and wait until I've calmed down before I continue. Otherwise it ruins a perfectly decent ride.

In between here and there
I rage, so much so it can take an hour or so after arriving home for the bad mood to be lifted. I then try and errase it from my memory. Makes it worse when they hurl abuse at me for "being in their way" that's throws me off the scale.

The worst ones are the caluclated ones, where they are prepared to risk hitting you to gain a slight advantage on the road. Strangely mishaps that are just bad driving do not seem to bother me as much.

Anger at what has just happenned. But its a case of "I'm still here to moan about it" afterwards.
"Cycle it off" most of the time as there is nearly always time to do so.

I just want to rip their throat out!

It used to be rage, which sometimes led to chasing and yelling at idiotic drivers. But after 30 years of the same sh!t I can't be bothered. I save my anger for those who feel the need to not only almost kill you, but also feel the need to stop and explain, quite loudly, that the near miss was your fault and that your legal egress on their road upsets them.

A split second of %*^! then a few seconds off 'phew that was bloody close' then 'haha sucks to be the driver, police are going to be contacting him about that!'

I did ring a driving instructor the other week though, who tried to squeeze past me in a 60mph zone on a narrowish road with oncoming traffic.

First off I asked how much room a driver should leave a cyclist. He went into teacher mode and said that you must allow for the wobble factor (i don't wobble btw!). He then proceeded to tell me that the highway code states that should allow as much room as when overtaking a car. When I then asked him why he didn't do that, nearly wiping me out, and that I didn't therefore think that he was a very good instructor, I was told to kiss his f**n arse and then hung up on.

A perfect example of cognitive dissonance!

Made me feel better in calmly handing my anger to him
