What are your opinion on the triban

hi guys new to the forum and needed a professional opinion of the triban 500 flat bar. Just bought it waiting for it to be delivered. Paid £250 with my discount code so I'm guessing it's not going to be great parts but would you think it's ok as a starter bike? It's only for short commute of about three miles one way same again return.

I had a chat with a cyclist today who was riding a Triban 500 flat bar. he was in the middle of a 40 mile ride. The only thing he changed was the wheels so i think it will be fine for a three mile commute

Loved mine. Wheel went out of true a couple of times, but no hardship.
