WHAT BIKE SHOW?

Hi fellow cyclists,

I am currently researching a business project based around the world of cycling and, if all goes well, may be interested in promoting it at cycling shows and exhibitions. Ideally I would like to investigate potential shows in the southern half of the UK, as I am based on the south coast and I would like to minimise travel (as far as possible)in the early stages.

I'm presuming there are various exhibitions and shows at venues such as the NEC and Earls Court as well as smaller places, and if there is anyone out there who has any knowledge of, or is involved with organisation of these, I would really appreciate some advice as to potential avenues of contact, cost (for a stand approximately 3m x3m), the processes involved with booking space etc.

Any advice regarding the above would be very gratefully received, thank you.

Looks like there's an attempt to resuscitate the York Rally/Cycle Show after a couple of fallow years.

The OP was asking for shows in the south, but I don't think there are that many cycle shows anywhere in the country so he may need to travel.
