Cheers for these. keep them coming.

Sad thing is though the bar has been set very high.

The West Wing and The Sopranos are truly brilliant. The Wire also was very very good but IMHO not the level of the other 2

Flight Of The Conchords; season 1 definitely. Haven't been as impressed with the few eps of season 2 that I've seen so far. Other comedy Gold is Alan Partridge, pretty much anything by Chris Morris (The Day Today, Brass Eye and Jam), Extras (especially the bonus scenes of corpsing). Been buying a few David Attenborough classics on boxset too, Trials of Life, Life Of Birds and Blue Planet, brilliant, educational and inspiring.

All classics.

I recommend House, I know it's several years old now and they have struggled to maintain the pace of what is essentially the same format for each episode by making it more of a soap with the characters. But it's interesting to see Prince George from Blackadder as an american none the less.

+1 for Dexter its awesome!

The Shield is also a great series with series 1-3 being a few years old now so you should get them quite cheap!

Just looking our for your general welfare greedo and to make sure you are utilising your time wisely. There are so many roads out there that need to be cycled rather then vegetating in front of the goggle box. And I can imagine that Mrs Greedo would rather you be healthy and fit rather then a tv watching couch potato.

9/10 at night? Never heard of the FNRttC?

And I did mention a boxset for you too...

Don't recall saying I had loads of time to kill or giving myself a time limit to watch it. just said I liked something there.

What riding at 9/10 o clock at night??? Your obsession with my riding schedule is verging on stalker territory.

You did. And thank you.

Just to put your mind at rest. I am very fit and healthy and eat healthy, I sleep very well and have a good work life balance and Mrs Greedo doesn't worry about me or my health at all. I realise I am lucky as other threads on here would suggest others don't.

I do have other interests also and I have learned that what works for me to keep me happy, contented and focused is a couple of nights per week chilling out and winding down after a busy day. Not a couch potato by any stretch of the imagination!!

I do cycle, and do so in my own time but I also swim, run and play football regulary. While I'm not obsessed with cyclng I do enjoy it when I do and surely whether someone cycles a mile a year or a million miles in a year it shouldn't make them less of a member on a forum in something they are interested in!!

Oh and if you lived on the outskirts of Glasgow where I do you might, but for me it's too dangerous road wise and light wise to go cycling alone at night in the dark. Slightly different from a load of people doing a one off run together!

Hope this puts your mind to rest:laugh:

Or Family Guy?

God, how could I have missed out Family Guy?
I can't find series 2 of Twin Peaks on DVD anywhere, according to one shop I visited it hasn't been released yet, will have to search harder.
