what colour of pedals would you go for?

I'm gonna buy a new set of shimano clipless pedals for my Giant SCR. They are available in silver or black. Black will match with the rest of the bike but i'm wondering if the black will score/mark much easier than the silver.

Anyone any experience or thoughts on this?

My black Shimano 105 ones on the Secteur are pretty badly marked after 3500 miles.

If I was to buy a set again I'd go for silver.

Doesn't matter, pedals will get battered in a short time anyway.

Personally I would buy black, but ultimatelly, whatever you buy will end up being a combination of black (dirt on silver) and scuff marks!

By the time your feet are on them and you're clipped in you can't see the pedals - and (if it bothers you that much) nor can anyone else.

Get black and think of the wear marks like you would an attendance register.

If they arent scuffed up, you aint using them enough. Bikes should be looked after, but one thats too clean and scuff free should make you sad.

Anything with an 'applied' cosmetic fiinish will start to look grotty as soon as it starts to come off.
