Mine is caused by a head injury that left me in a coma for 13 hrs and damaged my eyesight (going from -2 to -6 as a result - I had had an eyesight test less than 10 days previously). I cannot now tell the difference between shades involving red & yellow and red & blue (so yellow to orange to red and blue to purple but can tell extremes apart, thankfully greens are fine - the more red involved the less change I have - that's 1 eye. the other lacks some blue but not enough to be an issue) and those number spot tests drive me mad... what number can you see - well I can see the top half of a number 5 and bottom half of a 0 , though often I can't make anything out at all!
