If the period when George III was on the throne was called Georgian, the period when George IV was prince regent called the Regency, the period when Victoria was queen, called Victorian, the ten years when Vicky's son Bertie was King, Edwardian, what is the period between Edward VII and Elizabeth II called?

WW1 basically changed ended the British habit of referring to periods of history by the names of their rulers. An unecessary war between royal houses which sent millions to deaths tends to do that, plus national periodizations did not work so well in an era in which economics, politics (and history) was increasingly recognized as international or even global. You tend to get WW1, interwar, WW2, postwar. Cold War and so on after this, or 'the Short Twentieth Century' for the whole thing up to the end of the Cold War.
