I was having a think about this. My commute is 13 miles.

First 5 miles are the same as the first 5 on the Circuit of the Cotswolds.
Miles 6 to 7'ish was used by the Bike Blenheim Sportive last Sunday.
The final mile is part of the Birmingham to Oxford BHF route.

What about your routes?

The Friday Night Ride to the Coast (an esoteric, monthly gathering) goes to Bognor along a few miles of my commute.

Tour de France, 1st 2 miles
Tour de Britian, next 2 miles
Cycle sportife next mile
FreeRide last two miles

So with the exception of the 1st 100m to the main road, and the last 10m to the office, the entire route is used at one time or another by cycle events (and the the London Marathon). It will also be one of Boris's "Cycling Super Highways"

I'm pretty sure that some of the "more spririted" drivers on my route think its a special rally stage.

Otherwise nothing exciting other than possibly bits of the London marathon, I think
